The Film Independent League of Marin/Sonoma presents a screening of “East Timor: Betrayal and Resurrection,” at 7 p.m. Dec. 20 at Aqus Café Foundry Wharf, 189 H St.
The film, which was selected for screening at the World Film Festival in Bangkok, Thailand, in October 2003, documents the tragic history following the invasion of East Timor in 1975.
