Charity brings music to Timorese children

Music has an important space in most of our lives and has the power to please, to inspire, to soothe and to comfort.

The Mary McKillop Mission in East Timor recognises this. The Catholic charity is taking music to children in remote parts of East Timor, through Australian musicians and educator. One such person is cellist Rachel Scott, who plays chamber music in New South Wales.
